When will there be an update to the text of the Divine Challenge paladin feature? The text is extremely ambiguous:
1) "[The target] takes radiant damage (...) the first time it makes an attack that doesn't include you as a target before the start of your next turn." The text is not clear about wether this damage is suffered before or after the attack is resolved. It is also not clear if "your next turn" refers to each attack that is made, meaning a round-by-round effect, or if it refers to a single time between the turn when the paladin used this power and the next turn, when he might have to challenge a second time in order to be able to deal this damage again.
2) "On your turn, you must engage the target you challenged or challenge a different target." This turn would be the turn during which the challenge was made, the next turn after the challenge was made, or each turn during which the challenge is in effect, including the first? If it is (or includes) the first, then at that time, the paladin is required to engage immediately, since "You can use divine challenge once per turn", correct? If it indeed is a round-by-round requirement, this could have been more clearly stated.
I kindly request these points be addressed in forecoming rules updates, for the sake of DM's sanity at the table...

Alvaro Augusto,
Yes, you will enjoy the benefits of Action Surge when using the daily power of Armor of Exploits.

Same question (literaly) was made by another customer, a friend of mine, and the answer was that:
" Alvaro Augusto,

Is this an oficial position from game’s developers (faster then expected) or is this a Charles' personal interpretation?

Diego,
Although the rules do not specifically dictate how to handle this situation, Charles's answer can be accepted as our official position on the issue.

ANY answer 'can be accepted' (including my personal interpretion as DM). But I don't want just one more interpretation, I want to know WHAT WOTC SAYS ABOUT IT, I want the final and official answer about it. Don't be evasive. I think that be the link betwen customers and game's developers is the Customer Service's mission. Am I wrong?
Iron Man escreveu:Olha tenho uma duvida.

Response (Support Agent) 10/05/2008 03:20 PM
